John Wolstenholme MNRAH MNCH (Reg)
Hypnotherapist, Hypnoanalyst, Hypnosis for Childbirth: Registered Practitioner
Specialist Mind-Body Therapist for those living with cancer
As well as practising general hypnotherapy, I offer specialist expertise in Mind-Body techniques for helping people who have been diagnosed with cancer. This is particularly useful during periods of surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy or other intervention. I originally studied Hypnotherapy to a professional level in the mid-1990s and I hold the Hypnotherapy Control Board’s Diploma in Hypnotherapy. My academically accredited qualifications also include a Diploma in Life-Coaching (NCFE accredited), a Certificate in Life Coaching (also NCFE-accredited) and the Bristol Cancer Help Centre’s Certificate for Working with People with Cancer (this work was further academically accredited by the University of the West of England).
I set up the Winchester Hypnotherapy Practice in 2002, and I have very clear ideas on the high professional standards needed to move the profession of Hypnotherapy forward into the rapidly developing field of healthcare. Many people have been helped at the Practice since it opened, with help being given for phobias, fears, anxieties, weight issues, sports improvements and many other issues.
