Driving tests, exams and job interviews...
Hypnotherapy offers a powerful way of changing feelings and perceptions. Often, people will start building up the fears days, weeks, or even months before a driving test, an exam or a job interview. This is a good time to seek help, as it is often  very easy and quick to change these feelings into positive and motivating feelings at that stage, and it may be unnecessary to go through all the fears and panicky feelings in the build-up to the event. It’s also important to realise that sometimes when a person has those feelings, they will sub-consciously want to avoid the event and may even start to behave in ways that are encouraging themselves to avoid the event.

Help for driving test nerves
People coming for help for driving test nerves have often taken their driving test many, many times before and sometimes over several years. They have practiced, they know their Highway Code well, and they’ve been told by their driving instructor that  their driving skills are good and they are ready for the test. Yet the thought of it is still giving problems... This is the time to get some help. Often it will take only one or two sessions to change perceptions, and typically, clients will say afterwards  that they have actually enjoyed their driving test! A typical client comment was ‘The test was a cinch - thanks to you!’.
If you are feeling very nervous about a job interview or a college, university or job promotion exam, you are in good company. Many people have those same feelings. Usually they have little do with your ability, skills or knowledge. In fact, some of the most capable people have those same feelings. It all centres around your sub-conscious thoughts and feelings about yourself, and the negative thoughts that bring on bring on fears and panics.
The reasons that people often feel fear or panic at their driving test, include:

w
A feeling that they are being ‘judged’.
w
A feeling that it is them as a person under the spotlight, rather than their skills or knowledge.
w
A feeling of being ‘put on the spot’ and someone trying to catch them out.
Exam nerves?
Many people feel nervous when taking college exams, university exams or professional exams, whether it’s a sit-down exam or a practical exam (such as in nursing or the Police). It is of course quite normal to feel nervous, but when the nerves become the focus of attention rather than the exam, then it’s time for help!

Generally it takes just one or two sessions to change perceptions and to start thinking in a very different way about the exam. Hypnotherapy offers a powerful way for you to change.

Job interview nerves?
Maybe you’re going to be interviewed by a panel of people, maybe you’re being set some tasks or maybe you don’t know what to expect at the interview? Whatever it is about that job interview, you’ll perform far better if you focus on content of the interview, rather than your own fears. Hypnotherapy can help.
Hypnotherapy and hypnosis offer a powerful way of addressing nerves with driving tests, job interviews or exam nerves. Help in Winchester, Hampshire...
It is advisable to book a free Initial Consultation early. This is because a first session may be used a few weeks before the  driving test, exam or interview, and then a second session may be needed a day or two before. It’s a good idea to leave enough time for this to happen.
